Transition from Remote XP to Bookkeeping+

Should you make the decision to transition from our Remote XP service to Bookkeeping+, we want to ensure you understand everything that is included in that tier. Our Remote XP service is viewed as “ all inclusive”, meaning that we work hard to “never say no” and outside of software or product fees, you have never been charged anything additional for our services. Moving forward, should you need additional support that was previously included in the Remote XP model, we want to provide you with the pricing associated with adding-on support.

What’s included in our Bookkeeping+:

  • Payroll processing, including processing of all forms submitted through the Payroll Updates section of our website like:
    • New Hires
    • Information Updates
    • Separations
    • etc…
  • Ensuring all applicable payroll taxes are paid.
  • Issuing W2s to all employees via workforce & 1099s to all contractors (via email) who have provided a W9.
    • Quickbooks Online charges a fee to issue 1099s that will be paid for by the church.
  • Providing complete bookkeeping support through Quickbooks online including:
    • processing all bank account and credit card transactions as submitted.
    • posting a monthly reporting package as per our agreement and monthly dates.
    • Taking action on items received through a support form submission.
      • Depending on the nature of a “File Submission” additional fees may be required.
  • Managing expense report users, connections, and submissions.

Additional Value:

What is not included in our Bookkeeping+ and requires additional fees:

  • Anything listed on our additional services page.
  • Anything unrelated to bookkeeping such as support for Planning Center or other tools.
  • Managing giving platforms including:
    • Payment processor problems, requirements, or scans.
    • Annual giving statement issuing or discrepancies.
    • Inputing individual donations for physical donations.
    • Opening/Closing funds
  • Managing church login credentials.
  • Unique payroll situations such as tracking employees on support raising, individual requests outside of regular payroll operations, & additional time spent addressing unique payroll requests.
  • State or Federal filings of any kind unrelated to payroll.
  • Never hesitate to ask us for the support you need. We are usually more than happy to help however we can and will always ensure you understand any additional fee associated with your request before we take action.
  • Connecting with myXP. As bookkeeping only church, you will have a link to schedule an occasional 20 minute connect to ask clarifying questions about your reports. Services such as analysis, budgeting, coaching, and etc…can be found on our additional services page.
  • As a RemoteXP Church we work hard to respond to all requests within 2 business days.  Bookkeeping+ Churches have a commitment of 4 business days.  That said, as you have been an existing myXP church regardless of your subscription level you can attest to the fact that you have rarely if even waited either 2 or 4 business days for any response however please note that in some cases you may not receive a response before then.

Please note:  It is not the role or responsibility of myXP to provide training or additional resources to those taking over after us as you transition to a different level of support.  While we enthusiastically support the idea of churches being supported locally by those who call your church their home, it is fully implied that the decision to reduce the level of support being offered by myXP means that you have someone who can step in and provide a similar or higher level of support than we were able to provide your church.  We are not software developers and so our team has spent countless hours honing our ability to effectively manage the tools you are currently using. These resources we have used to learn what we know have been published by the companies responsible for creating all the tools you are currently using.  We have read manuals, watched tutorial videos, and our ability to solve problems for your church related but not limited to things such as:

  • Google Workspace
  • Planning Center Online
  • State and Federal notices
  • Zoho
  • Etc...

are a large part of what you have paid for us to do at the RemoteXP level of support.  As we require a 30 day notice to transition support levels, the 2 remaining connects after giving your notice cannot begin to scratch the surface of what the myXP has learned how to do in our collective 30 years of experience in this type of role.  Should you need additional support outside of the Bookkeeping+ services listed above, please review our additional services page (see related articles below) for add-on support options and related costs.
