Quickbooks Online Reporting Access
One of the primary advantages of utilizing QuickBooks Online is the reporting access available to anyone on your team. This feature allows full access to all the reports that QuickBooks offers in an on-demand fashion, meaning that any user can pull reports at any time. We strongly encourage this approach, as we believe that bookkeeping is a partnership between us and the church.
Key Points About QuickBooks Online Reporting
Full Access for Users:
- Whomever you grant access to will have complete access to all QuickBooks Online reports. It is important to note that there is no ability to restrict access to certain accounts or limit the scope of data; full access must be provided.
No Additional Costs or User Limits:
- QuickBooks Online does not charge for reporting users, nor does it currently impose a limit on the number of reporting users allowed.
User-Friendly Yet Detailed:
- While QuickBooks Online is fairly user-friendly, it is also detailed-oriented software. Although myXP does not offer training on how to pull and interpret QuickBooks Online reports, there are numerous YouTube tutorials and online seminars available to help users learn more about navigating the software.
Referencing Accurate Reports:
- When utilizing reporting access, only reference reports pulled for periods that have been closed and posted by myXP. Reports beyond the date of our most recent posting have not been reviewed and verified. While you can use the latest transactions as a reference point, all questions about unposted reports should wait until after we have closed the month in question. Adding Team Members to QuickBooks Reporting
- If you or someone on your leadership team would like to be added to QuickBooks reporting, please either post a to-do in Basecamp or submit a help ticket (see related articles below).
