What software tools we use

At myXP we work hard to stay up to date on the latest software offerings that can help ensure our relationship with you remains streamlined and efficient. While we use a variety of tools to ensure we can most faithfully serve your church, if there is any tool we need you to interact with, we ensure that we have provided helpful tutorials to make everything as easy as possible. The software tools that we will be using are:

  • Basecamp: besides Zoom, this is the exclusive way that we will communicate with your church--it's an expensive tool but don't worry-myXP foots the whole bill on this one no matter how many users you add. If Basecamp is a new tool to you, we have even created a few videos to help you get started.
  • Quickbooks Online: is the tool we use for bookkeeping and while there are a variety of other tools out there, this is the one we use. If you are a registered 501c3 we can help you get this for $75/year. If not, we can likely save you money by billing you for this vs you paying Intuit directly. The QBO subscription is one that the church pays for. You can either rely on myXP to handle posting all your reports or ask us to add an unlimited number of reporting only users.
  • Zoho Expense: is an app-based expense management tool that we use with any church that utilizes a church credit card. The cost is $4.25 per month per user paid by the church directly to Zoho Expense. Taking care of the setup and management of this tool is included in both our Remote XP and Bookkeeping+ subscriptions. We also offer instructional videos that can be shared with staff members to make implementing this tool as easy as possible.
  • Quickbooks Online Payroll: is one of the best payroll processing options available. They are fully setup to support the unique payroll situations presented by churches, offer a portal for employees to view pay stubs and tax documents, issue digital 1099s to contractors, and more. Payroll is paid for by the church & pricing is dependent on if you need a timeclock and how many staff memebers you have. Payroll processing & the use of our onboarding tools is inlcuded in both our Remote XP and Bookkeeping+ subscriptions. While we are supporting you, this is not a tool you will need to interact with at all.
  • Melio Payments: is the tool we use for processing bill payments for your church. Each month the first 2 check payments are free and then each additional check payment is $1.50 paid direct to Melio. ACH payments are currently completely free. Other than knowing your payments are taken care of you won't need to interact with melio at all.
